Salmon Fishing Scotland Spring Salmon Fishing on the Tay, Perthshire March 2015.

Salmon Fishing Scotland Spring Salmon Fishing on the Tay, Perthshire March 2015.

The river Tay in Perthshire is settling back nicely after last weeks big water and hopefully there will be a good catch this week of spring salmon.
First thing on Monday morning and Swedish fly fisher Stefan Franzmann lands a superb 10 pounds springer on the Benchil beat just below Stanley in Aitken Head on a Temple Dog fly.
A superb 23 pounds beauty caught by Mrs Caplan on the Dunkeld House beat from the boat on a Tomic.

Great to see springers being caught on the fly now.
Do you have any new fly patterns that are going to be hot this season?
