The Tay in Perthshire is encountering superb Easter spring weather with wall to wall blue skies and spring sunshine. The catches have been excellent as well with now nearly 70 spring salmon registered for the week so far and from all over the river.

This was the first part of a family act at Dunkeld House. This was 14 year old Ross Jones with a cracking 19 pounds fish caught on a Toby Salmo.
Ross's father was not to be undone as he landed a magnificent 20 pounds fish from the same beat. Great stuff!
